How much does an FBI apostille cost?
Quotes for the exact same certificate range from under a hundred dollars to over three hundred. The certificate never changes — the packaging does. Here is where the money actually goes, so you can judge any quote on this page or anyone else's.
The three costs inside every quote
1. The federal fee. The Department of State charges a small per-document fee to authenticate a federal record. Any honest provider absorbs or passes this through at cost — it is a rounding error next to the service fee, and with us it's inside the $75.
2. The service fee. The real product: formatting your report to the Authentication Office's requirements, filing it under a registered account, monitoring it, and fixing rejections. This is where providers differ by hundreds of dollars for identical output.
3. Movement. Getting the sealed certificate back into your hands — a scan, a domestic label, or an international courier. Bundled pricing hides this; itemized pricing (ours: $20 scan, $20 U.S. shipping, $40 international) lets someone who's still stateside skip the courier fee entirely.

Why a cheap FBI apostille can be legitimate
Skepticism is healthy in this market — plenty of people searching "cheap fbi apostille" have been burned once already. The economics still check out: a federal apostille is a fixed, repeatable filing. A registered filer running volume through the Authentication Office doesn't spend $250 of labor on your document, and a price near the bottom of the market can simply reflect that instead of a corner being cut.
What actually separates providers is disclosure. A trustworthy cheap option shows you the whole menu before you pay and backs it with a refund if the filing fails. That's the test we built our $75 service to pass — and the test you should apply to everyone, including us.
